M – This is the basic version of the NUA grinder equipped with mechanical (manual) travel of the work table moving on rolling guides.
The most important structural elements of the machine are made of cast iron, which ensures the operating stability of the grinder. The lateral travel of the device is carried out mechanically. The sliding guides of the body are lined with a material featuring a very low friction coefficient, which results in the cross-travel precision of 0.005 mm. The grinding head is driven by an electric motor, controlled from the operator panel, which also controls the activating and deactivating of the spindle drive.

H – Unlike the M version, the grinder in the H version is equipped with a hydraulic longitudinal travel of the work table with a 360 mm stroke. All components of the hydraulic drive are located inside the machine’s body. The drive can be switched from hydraulic to manual by releasing a latch. The use of a hydraulic drive allows for grinding surfaces, rollers, holes, and for the automatic sharpening of rotary tools, when choosing the appropriate accessories.

a – the basic type of the grinding head equipped with a one-way spindle (left-hand rotation) with a 0.55 kW motor. The head allows for vertical rotation in the range from +15˚ to 90˚, and horizontally to ±173˚

b – A new type of the grinding head with a bi-directional spindle (clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation) equipped with a 1.1 kW motor. The head allows for vertical swivel at ±120˚ and horizontal swivel at 360˚. By using an eccentric, the adjustment range in the horizontal plane has been increased.

Specialised grinder for automatic sharpening of mills controlled in 5 axes

Automatic grinder ASP-631F (SL5) is designed for sharpening mills and other tools with blades formed along a helical path. This is a 5-axis machine, where 3 axes can work at the same time. It is used for grinding rake and clearance surfaces of screw blades with inclination angle of a helical path within the range from 0º to 90º. It is possible to grind spherical and contouring surfaces. The range of diameters of ground items is up to 160 mm.

Grinder for automatic sharpening planer heads

Application:

Automatic grinder for use in furniture, woodworking, plastic processing companies. Desinged for sharpening planer heads without removing of the cutting blades. Machine sharpenes precisely straight knives (heads) w traditional, hydro and Powerlock mounting. Due to the use of an intuitive control system, machine is characterized by simpilcity in use.

Description of use:

Used to sharpen planer heads with maximum diameter of 250mm and length 400mm. machine sharpenes tool clearance surface along a straight line. Three axial control allows to use the automatic grinder for  harpening most planer heads available on the market. It enables the sharpening process to be carried out both dry and using a coolant. Use of the cooling system speeds up the sharpening process, minimizing time needed to reduce effects of temperature in the grindng place.

The ASP-631 FMK automatic grinder is designed for sharpening circular knives with a maximum diameter of 350 mm. The holder allows firm and secure fixation of the tools to be processed. The rotational speed of the sharpened tool surface can be steplessly adjusted from 0 to 200 RPM. The machine is controlled by an intuitive control system which enables setting all necessary operating parameters. The grinder features a cooling system which prevents the sharpened tools from overheating.

The proprietary intuitive control system enables programming the critical operating parameters, including:
• the working feed rate from 0.2 to 2m/min
• the number of sharpening passes from 0 to 99
• Value of trim before each sharpening pass from 0.01 to 0.99mm

The machine is designed for automatic sharpening of planer knives in fixtures with 4 tools in one process and up to 1000 mm long. The machine enables grinding of chipper blades on a tilt table (with a standard L=350 mm), and other industrial cutting tools which require flat grinding. The machine features a rigid and  compact design and an integrated cooling system.

The grinder is programmed with a proprietary and intuitive control system which enables setting all necessary operating parameters.

A complete ASN-810 grinder includes a 0 to 40° tilting table, a cooling system, and a L=350mm tilting table for processing at angles beyond 40°.

ASN-810A

The machine is an evolution of the ASN-810 grinder upgraded with an additional cross-feed mechanism of the Grinding head. The grinder is intended for automatic sharpening of perforating or cutting blades for paper and foil, corrugated blades, and angled blades with a pitch of 1-10 mm. The maximum permissible blade length is 1000 mm, for straight knives and 750 for grooved the maximum number of teeth is 999, and the machine can process angular or radial shape (depending on the grinding wheel shape), complete with longitudinal and height correction between 0.01 and 0.2 mm. The machine can process tapered knives with a taper of up to 2 mm and an option of processing wider tapers. The blades can be fixed directly to the table or with a tilting table.
